XCOM: Enemy Unknown (The Facebook friends VS the Invaders saga)

Hey!

I'ts been a while since I've had anything of worth to post here, but finally the time has come!

I picked up a copy of XCOM the other day, a game I've been waiting on for a long LONG time now. I had never played the original(s) but I saw some footage of this and was hooked.

After playing through it and getting a kill screen I decided to do it again but only this time...why not use my friends and family from facebook?

This could be pretty awesome. Who would live? Who would die? Who would sacrifice themselves to make sure the mission was accomplished? I'm very excited to find out.




So before I got started I set some rules for myself.


1] Only include people who are either gamers,interested in gaming OR would be interested in this "project".

2] Make a list of these individuals on facebook so that I can give them updates on the project without spamming everyone else on my list.

3]With this very list, randomize the order so that I'm not "playing favorites". Since I only have room for so many on a squad (and I also only start off with a small number of soldiers) I will replace them with new people on the list as I can afford them OR as soldiers die.

4] I will not edit the nicknames of the characters as I'm sort of interested in what the game's randomizer will spit out.

5] I must either beat the game or get as far as I can in the game's "Classic" difficulty mode, WITH the "Ironman" feature on.

6] Dead is dead! No loading saves!
